If you do music, send a message to a YouTube musician that you look up to (such as Avery, Alyssa Bernal, Ysabella Brave, Greyson Chance, Esmee Denters, Andy McKee, Terra Naomi, Julia Nunes, etc.)
Tell them :
How much you enjoy their videos.
How they influenced / inspired you.
Ask them for feedback on your video.
End with a link to your video.
Make sure to thank them if they reply. If they don't, try sending a message to a different person and don't forget to be sincere, because if the message sounds like spam, they'll just ignore it.
Friend with them ! (Networking)
This is the hardest part. will be hard if they're extremely popular, because then they'll probably think you only like them for their subscribers. Don't over-compliment them, though. Most people don't like brown-nosers.
